Covid vaccination: Centre simplifies registration process in Aarogya Setu app

New Delhi: The Centre has made huge changes in the Aarogya Setu app after considering people’s grievances.

A direct option to register for the covid vaccination has been added in the app so that people should not face any kind of trouble in the registration process.

The Aarogya Setu app was having only one option for information regarding the corona vaccination and in that option, only people had to register which was a troubling process. The new option allows people to directly register by just clicking on it and after clicking you will have to enter your phone number.

After that you will get an OTP on your mobile number. After this a new window will open where you can add your details for registration. People can easily register from anywhere by using this option on the app.

Moreover, a Covin option is also available where you will get all the information regarding the vaccine certificates, dashboards, logins etc. Also, information about cases of Covid-19 on daily basis will be provided.

The Health Ministry stated that after getting the OTP, you have to provide information of any government ID for the further process like Aadhar card, vehicle license, PAN card, passport, pension passbook, NPR smart card or voter card. After filling up the form with all your details you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number regarding the vaccination centre, time and date.

Till now, 2.2 crore people have been vaccinated in the country.
