Coronavirus Study: Corona virus weakens body parts causing other illness

London: Even after recovering from coronavirus, a person continues to suffer from other illnesses found in research. New research has revealed, when coronavirus enters the body it adversely affects different organs.  Lungs, kidneys and many other organs may get severely damaged. A research study published in The Lancet Microb has reported, lungs or kidney of the patients who have died from the corona virus were severely damaged.

Post mortem reports of corona patients in England have been researched by the Imperial College London and the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Research has found that thrombosis means blood clots were found in the heart, kidney and lungs of 9 out of 10 patients in coronation deaths. Researcher Dr. Michael Osbourne said, ‘it destroys the lungs completely, causing death of the patient’.

Similarly, the post mortem report of corona patients between the ages of 22 and 97 has shown the kidneys are badly infected causing inflammation in the intestines. Another finding states, the main reason behind death due to corona was high blood pressure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease i.e. lung problems.

Coronavirus led death has caused injury to the lungs and kidneys of the patient. So far, 31 lakh 67 thousand 323 people have been infected with the corona virus in the country, while 58,590 people have died.
