Coronavirus : How Far We are From Stage 3 ? Next Few Hours Crucial for India

New Delhi: Coronavirus is currently on stage 2 in the country. That is, it is now infecting people at the local level. But if it reaches stage three i.e. community transition then it will be problematic. So the next few hours are very important. Scientists of the Indian Council of Medical Research are engaged in finding it.

Surprisingly, in the 24 hours alone, more than 50 new patients have arrived and 4 deaths have occurred. Coronavirus is currently on stage 2 in the country. But if it reaches stage three i.e. community transition then it will be problematic. Therefore the next few hours are extremely important. Scientists from the Indian Council of Medical Research are engaged in finding this out. According to the media report, ICMR scientist Dr. RR Gangakhedkar told that in the next 24 to 36 hours it will be known whether the coronavirus has reached at stage three in India. A mathematical model is in the works to address this.

Recently the Director-General of ICMR, Dr. Balram Bhargava also said that if the coronavirus reaches stage 3 in the country then it will be very difficult to handle it. So now the government is trying not to reach the third stage. The lockdown is believed to break the chain of infection.
