Coronavirus : 8 New Corona Positives Found in Gujarat, 82 Infected So Far

Ahmedabad : The number of coronavirus infection is increasing rapidly in the whole country as well as in Gujarat. According to reports, with the arrival of 8 new cases of coronavirus infection in Gujarat, the total number of infected people has now reached 82. A state health official said that all new cases are from Ahmedabad and the city has been declared one of the hotspots most affected with Covid-19 in India.

Case of local infection reached 41 in the state
State Principal Health Secretary Jayanthi Ravi said that out of 8 new patients, 4 have return from other states while the remaining 3 have local infection cases. At the same time, a person had recently traveled abroad. With this, the number of cases of local infection in the state has reached 41 and the number of people traveling abroad is 33. Apart from this, there are 8 patients who traveled to other states.

The official said that so far 6 people have died in Gujarat due to corona virus. He informed that 6 patients have also been discharged from hospital and 66 are in stable condition while 3 are on ventilator. Gujarat is one of the most affected states in the country and the increasing number of cases in Ahmedabad has made the government worried. However, the recovery of 6 people is a relief for medical workers as well as patients.
