CM’s presence of mind: for ‘this’ reason he refused to take the bouquet

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE-  The Chief Minister (CM) of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis shows his presence of mind and awareness towards the environments by refusing the flower’s bouquet, which was covered with plastic. CM shows the real implementation of Government’s decision of plastic ban.

Satish Misal Education Foundation’s (SMEF) Brick group of institute organized it’s first graduation ceremony. The Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was the chief guest for this program.

Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Madhuri Misal was welcoming the CM by giving the bouquet, but he refused to take it, as it was made by using plastic in it.

Graduation ceremony of  Satish Misal Education Foundation’s (SMEF) Brick group of the institute was done in presence of CM Devendra Fadnavis. At this time, MLA Madhuri Misal felicitated CM. But while doing this, she was giving the flower bouquet for felicitation of CM. but as soon as he realized that, this is plastic made bouquet, he refused to take it politely. CM set down a good example of avoiding the use of plastics in front of students and people who were present for the occasion as well as common people.

The Minister of Rural Development and Women and Child welfare Pankaja Munde, Mayor Mukta Tilak and Vice Chancellor of Pune University Nitin Kalmalkar was presented for the program organized by Brick Group of Institutes of Satish Misal Education Foundation.

Satish Misal Education Foundation’s Brick Group of Institutes is offered undergraduate programs in Architecture, Interior design and summer programs located in Undri area of Pune.

Plastic banned in Maharashtra  

The country’s second most highly populated state- Maharashtra had banned on use of Plastic products by penalizing to those who used plastic products. The penalty starts at Rs. 5000 Rs 25000 for repeating use of plastics. Environmentalist had welcomed the cabinet’s decision of plastic ban.  The Maharashtra Government took this decision of banned on the manufactured, use, sale, transport and distribution of Plastic on March 23, 2018.
