Police may arrest more Maoist from Pune

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE-  ‘Indian Association of People’s Lawyers’ (IAPL), which is a chapter of the International Association of People’s Lawyers and also the leading organization of a banned Maoist organization. This organization provides the Legal Services to Dalits and needy people in society.

The former judge Suresh Hosbet who is also president of this organization can be arrested if found out that he has also connections with Maoist.

“Other people might be arrested because of the connection with the Maoists. We will not declare a list of their names. but we will submit it to the court if required,” said by assistant commissioner of Police Shivaji Pawar in the court on Friday.

Additional public prosecutor Ujjwala pawer is arguing on the bail application of the accused, who have arrested on the basis of connection with the Maoists. At that time, Shivaji Pawar opposed the bail application. The hearing is going on in the court of Judge KD Vadne.

The people arrested on the basis of connection with the Maoists – Surendra Gadling, Shoma Sen, Arun Pereira, Vernon Gonsalves, Sudha Bhardwaj made an application for bail in the District Court. Additional public prosecutor Ujjwala pawer argued on this bail application.

The demand was made of 10 lakhs 5 thousand for the ‘IAPL’ conference. Gadling had asked for money towards the Prashant Bose as per Ujjwala Pawar mentioned in a letter.

“The CPI’s underground activists had also come for the UAPA Conference. What was the reason behind it? Imroz Parvez also came to the conference. He encouraged the youth of Maharashtra, Punjab, and Kashmir,” Pawar told the court.

On the basis of the complaint filed at Vishrambaug police station, Pune Police investigated the matter of the Maoist connections with the Elgar Parishad. Police founded many documentary proofs, which relates the connections of Maoists and their social workers in urban areas.

Ujjwala Pawar submitted the documentary proofs and letters of the members of the Central Committee of the CPI-M (Maoist) organization- Comrade Ganapati, Comrade Kishanda, Comrade Sudarshan, Comrade Milind/Deepak Teltubande in the court.

The laptop was seized from the raid at Rona Wilson’s house in Delhi. Police founded many proofs in connection with the Maoists in that laptop.

After the riots in Koregaon-Bhima, the senior committee of the CPI (M) (which is banned organization) congratulated Urban Comrades and said that the movement was successful said by Ujjwala Pawar in the court while making the argument.
