Pune: Mohol Campaigns in P. L. Deshpande Park with Senior Citizens; Praises Kalagram Project of PMC

Pune: A Kalagram is being developed by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) in P. L. Deshpande Garden on Sinhagad Road. This Kalagram is being built on 3.5 acres of land in a garden, and the entire project is valued at Rs 6 crore. Apart from becoming a favourite tourist destination, this Kalagram project will also provide a platform for Puneites’ emerging artists to perform their art here.

Mahayuti’s candidate for Pune Lok Sabha constituency, Murlidhar Mohol, expressed his belief that this project will give a big boost to tourism and will also provide artists with the opportunity to exhibit their art and sell their products through the medium of Kalagram.

Mohol campaigned today by meeting citizens who come for morning walks and exercise at P. L. Deshpande Park. At that time, MLA Madhuri Misal, Anita Kadam, Anand Rithe, Mahesh Wable, Prashant Divekar, Jitendra Polekar, and Vinaya Bahulikar were also present with Mohol.

Mohol said, “This unique project is being built on the lines of Delhi Hut. An amphitheatre with a capacity of 200 citizens and a refreshment centre are being set up at this place.”

The election for the Pune constituency is scheduled for May 13. Pune is witnessing a tripartite fight in which Mahayuti’s Murlidhar Mohol will face a tough challenge of Mahavaikas Aghadi’s candidate Ravindra Dhangekar and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi’s Vasant More.
