Child kidnapping attempt in Vishrantwadi

An unidentified man on a motorcycle allegedly tried to kidnap a minor girl in Vidyanagar locality of Vishrantwadi.

The incident took place around 7.20 pm on September 1 at Gaurav Garden housing society in lane no. 10 of Vidyanagar area.
As per the FIR lodged by the mother of the girl with Vishrantwadi police station, her nine-year-old daughter was playing when the unidentified man on a bike approached her. He asked her name and school and he tried to kidnap her away. The whole incident has been caught on CCTV footage. Police have launched a search for the accused.
