Ceiling of Kejriwal’s 80-Year-Old House Collapses After Heavy Rain

New Delhi : A major accident averted in Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house. A portion of the ceiling of his house in Civil Lines fell due to heavy rains. The good thing is that no one is hurt in this. According to sources, while repairs on the roof were being done, the roof of the adjacent toilet also collapsed. This was followed by the wall of the toilet developing cracks and bricks coming loose. Officials said PWD officials are now assessing the damage and the structural safety of the house, and a report will be prepared and submitted soon.

According to a government source, till now the Chamber of the CM was like a war room, where important meetings were held. It is a matter of luck that no one was present in the Chamber during the incident. The ceiling that collapsed was the personal chamber of the chamber Arvind Kejriwal.

The source said that the house where the Chief Minister is now living was built in 1942 and some parts of this building goes under repair work throughout the year. Delhi has received heavy rainfall in the last three weeks. In such a situation, it is believed that more parts of the building may have been affected. This is the reason that Kejriwal’s house is now being reviewed by PWD officials. Further consideration will be given only after the assessment report of the officers.
