Pune :  NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | A case has been registered at the Samarth Police Station for issuing a fake no objection certificate (NOC) about affiliation of schools with the CBSE in the city. An inquiry by the State Education Department has revealed that these certificates were sold to schools for Rs 12 lakhs with forged signatures of ministry officials. (Pune Crime News)

Zilla Parishad education officer Sunanda Waghmare (43) has lodged a complaint at the Samarth police station. A case has been registered against unknown persons who created fake NOCs.

Education Officer Sunanda Waghmare has stated in her complaint the Creative Education Society’s Public School and Junior College, MP International School and Junior School, Educational Career Foundation’s Namo RIMS Shaha and Junior Colleges were affiliated to the CBSE by submitting fake NOCs at the secondary education department of the Pune Zilla Parishad before 14 July 2022. The ZP has been cheated in this regard. Accordingly, the police have registered a case.

The schools of the boards other than the state board have to get the NOC from the state government, without which CBSE Board schools cannot be started in Maharashtra.

But it has been revealed in the inquiry that some people gave fake certificates to the management of the institutions in Pune by issuing the inward number of other schools.
