Car hits divider on Expressway, 2 women dead, 4 severely injured

After the accident, two women died on the spot and four others are injured and are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

According to the information received, around 8 in the morning, of an accident which took place on the Nagar- Aurangabad Road, Pandharpur.

The four-wheeler vehicle named Scorpio with vehicle no.(M.H16 B.Z. 2252), a family was traveling in the car and were moving towards Kaygaon from Pathardi.

In the meantime, the driver lost control over the steering wheel of the car, and the car hit the divider near to the hotel on the road.

The names of the deceased in the accident, Ujjwala Ashok Gore(45), Anita Sanjay Gore (35), both the two women died on the spot.

Babasaheb Abaji Gore, Nilesh Popat Gore (26), Ashok Vikram Gore and Sangita Vikram Gore have been seriously injured. They all have been admitted to Ahmednagar’s nearest hospital.

The police are still probing into the case as they are yet to ascertain the cause of the incident, as to how did the car driver lost balance and rammed into the divider on the expressway.

The relatives of the deceased and injured are still not able to digest the fact that they have already lost two of their loved ones and rest are injured.
