Bollywood diva and Member of Parliament Rekha says, “My Mother Gave Me Birth, The Year She Modelled For Lux”
NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – StarPlus’ Lux Golden Rose Awards celebrated their 3rd edition over the weekend, in Mumbai which was a star-studded affair. The event was hosted by Badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan who entertained the audience and left them in splits with his witty humour. It was a special evening for Rekha as she was honoured with Lux Golden Rose Legendary Beauty Award.
The veteran actress, Rekha was honoured with the award by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar.
While receiving the award, she said, “I have always believed that beauty comes from within. Thank you all for loving me and instilling this beauty in me which will live on forever. My mother gave me to birth the year she modelled for Lux for the first time, and since then 64 years have passed. I am grateful to be receiving this award and hope my association with Lux goes a long way from here.’’
