Blast During Kashmir Rally in Karachi, Pakistan; At Least 39 Injured

Karachi : The blast occurred during the Kashmir Solidarity Rally held in Karachi city of Pakistan on Wednesday in which at least 39 people were injured. This rally was called by Jamaat-e-Islami in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi.

Crackers used in blast
According to the police, ‘crackers’ have been used in this blast. Unknown elements had ‘crackers’ in a motorcycle near the rally. They managed to flee from the scene after executing the attack.

Sindh province health department spokesman Miran Yusuf said that 39 people have been reported injured so far. The condition of one person in the injured is said to be critical. No casualty has been reported so far.

Yusuf said, “Most of the injured have suffered minor injuries. Some of these people have been discharged from the hospital after initial treatment.”

SSP Sajid Aamir said that the bomb disposal squad has been called to the scene. Investigation is going on regarding the blast. Information about other possible blasts is being collected at the scene. Also, the police team has started investigating the incident at its level.
