BIG NEWS : Earthquake in Jharkhand-Karnataka, Intensity of 4.7 & 4.0

New Delhi : In the last few days, there have been frequent earthquake tremors within the country. Two earthquakes occurred in Karnataka and Jharkhand on Friday morning. The National Center for Seismology said that there was an earthquake in Hampi, Karnataka at 6.55 am, which measured 4.0 on the reactor scale. However, there is no news of loss of life or property.

Apart from this, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand experienced earthquake of magnitude higher than Karnataka. The National Center for Seismology said that there was an earthquake in Jamshedpur also at 6.55 minutes but its intensity was higher than the earthquake in Karnataka. The institute said that the magnitude of this earthquake on the reactor scale has been measured at 4.7.

At the same time, in the last one and a half months, there have been 11 earthquake tremors in the National Capital Region (NCR) including Delhi. It is being told that in Delhi-NCR, the energy is being released due to the activation of the plates inside the earth, due to which the tremors are felt intermittently.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), there have been tremors in Delhi-NCR on April 12, 13 and 16. Similarly, the trend of earthquake tremors continued in May. Tremors occurred in Delhi-Faridabad NCR on 6, 10, 15 May and 28 May. This was followed by two tremors on May 29, with the center being Rohtak.

According to the National Seismological Center, one time in Rajasthan, four in Uttarakhand and six in Himachal Pradesh also experienced tremors during this period. However, the magnitude of these tremors ranged from 2.2 to 4.5 on the Richter scale. There is a possibility of loss in case of shock of higher intensity.
