Bajaj Finserv customers duped of Rs 3.65 lakhs

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE– An FIR has been registered against two mobile phone owners for allegedly cheating customers of Bajaj Finserv of Rs 3.65 lakhs. Bajaj Finserv, a part of Bajaj Holdings & Investments Limited, is an Indian financial services company focused on lending, asset management, wealth management and insurance.

Six agreements signed in between India and Japan

Hemant Ahirrao (39) of Ambegaon Pathar has lodged the complaint in this regard with Vimantal police station under Pune city police.

The incident took place between May and October this year. The accused persons used to call the customer care number of Bajaj Finserv and got the registered phone number of EMI cards changed. Like this, they changed phone numbers of four customers and then used the EMI cards for shopping on Amazon and Flipkart websites.

Now Rs 25 lakhs extortion case against Deepak Mankar

Police have booked the unidentified accused person for offences under sections 419 (impersonation), 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
