Autorickshaw driver dies after being hit on the chest

The deceased has been identified as Nuddin Mohammad Nadaf (48), a resident of Lohegaon. The Vimantal police have registered an FIR of murder and arrested Tempo driver Amol Narayan Suryawanshi (27), a resident of Wagholi.
Bashir Mohammad Nadaf has lodged a complaint (176/23) at the Vimantal police station. The incident took place near Aple Ghar Society opposite a tea shop on a road at 11.15 am.
According to the police, the complainant’s brother Jainuddin Nadaf is an auto driver. He had parked his auto on the roadside and was talking with his friend Matin Bagwan and nephew Sultan Nadaf. A Tempo came from the opposite direction and since the driver could not cross the road, there was an argument. Tempo driver Amol Suryawanshi abused Jainuddin and hit on his chest with his tight fist. Jainuddin was in agony and collapsed. He was immediately taken to a hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.
The police have registered an FIR of murder and arrested auto driver Amol Suryawanshi. PI Mali is probing the case.
