Aurangabad-China Direct Flight Services to be Started

AURANGABAD: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Aurangabad is the historical and cultural capital of Maharashtra and various attempts are being made to increase the number of Chinese tourists and visitors to the city. As a first step of it, efforts will be taken for starting the Aurangabad-China direct flight services. This information is given by China’s minister Li Keqiang.

China’s vice president is on India tour for next month. During that time, he is going to visit Aurangabad city. On the backdrop of this, the Chinese Delegates are already in Aurangabad and they have visited Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) too. At this time, Li Keqiang said that the efforts will be taken to start the direct flight services from Aurangabad to China.

Mayor Nandkumar Ghodele welcomed the guests (delegates). While talking with mayor, Lee said that the main reason for this tour is promotion of tourism and business. At present, there are 27 flight services in between these two countries and this number should increase.

During this time, opposition leader Jameer Kadari, Deputy commissioner Manjusha Mutha, Executive Engineer Afsar Siddiqui, Garden superintendent Vijay Patil, D P Kulkarni were present.

There are total 240 businesses of China which are running in India, out of which 40 companies are in Maharashtra which generates employment for two lakh people. Every year, 20,000 students went to China for higher education, whereas 2000 students came to India. Attempts will be made to increase these numbers.
