Applications of Uber and three companies to seek aggregator licence for three wheeler autorickshaws rejected

PUNE : NpNews24 Online  – Pune RTO News | A meeting of Pune RTO held under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh decided to deny aggregator licence to three companies M/s Ani Technologies Pvt Ltd, Pune, M/s Uber India Systems Pvt Ltd and M/s Kevolution Technologies Pvt Ltd for operating three wheeled autorickshaws. In the Pune RTO meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr Deshmukh, proposals of four companies were considered. Of them M/s Ani Technologies Pvt Ltd and M/s Uber India Systems Pvt Ltd had sought aggregator licence in LMV and three wheeler autorickshaw category and M/s Kevolution Technologies Pvt Ltd and M/s Roppen Transportation Service Pvt Ltd had sought aggregator licence for three wheeler autorickshaw category.

 

The proposals were submitted to RTO as per the provisions of Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines, 2020. The proposals of all companies to secure an aggregator licence in three wheeler autorickshaw category were rejected. The RTO has decided to seek guidance from the state government about the proposals of M/s Ani Technologies Pvt Ltd and M/s Uber India Systems Pvt Ltd to seek aggregator licence for LMV category, informed RTO Ajit Shinde.
