Amyra Dastur’s vacation cut short for professional obligations
NPnews24 Online: It’s no secret that B-Town waits for no one and even though this Parsi starlet managed to work out a short vacation for herself, she had to fly back 4 days earlier to Mumbai as her work just couldn’t wait.
Amyra Dastur who’s portraying the girl next door in Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Judgementall Hai Kya?’ has been called back from her European holiday to dub for the much awaited quirky thriller and shoot for the poster of Maddock Films’ Gujarat based comedy – ‘Made In China’ which also stars Rajkumar Rao & Boman Irani as the main leads.
A source close to the actress stated that Amyra was really looking forward to her vacation in order to de-stress before embarking on major promotions for her up coming Hindi releases. Both the films have a sort of ensemble cast and getting everyone’s dates in sync is every producers biggest hassle. However, Amyra is a hardworking girl who was more than ready to head back home by the 6th instead of the 10th, when she heard about the date issues.
When we asked Amyra about this she said, “As much as I wished i could’ve finished my vacation, I understand the issue at hand and I know how much the teams tried to make the dates work but at the end of the day I know how far I’ve come and how far I want to go and that means giving up what i want now for what I want in the long run. I’m sure one day I’ll reach a point where I will extend my vacations but until then, work will always come first.”
Apart from ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ and ‘Made In China’, Amyra will also be featuring in the Hit Telegu Hindi Remake – ‘Prassthanam’ which co stars Sanjay Dutt, Monisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff and Ali Fazal as well as T-Series’s Murder Mystery – ‘Koi Jaane Naa’ opposite Kunal Kapoor
