NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Local police officers in Aurangabad district of Bihar are found in trouble. On June 27, the accused arrested in the Arms Act, the extortion and other serious offenses was released by the police officers on the day of Gandhi Jayanti on good behaviour. But the same accused killed two people in just one and half months after releasing from the jail. The police again arrested the accused in the murder case and now there is possibility of inquiry of the police in this matter.

Pawan Kumar Singh is the name that accused who lives in an area, which comes under the jurisdiction of Nabinagar police station in Aurangabad district. He was redeemed for his good behaviour and was freed. However, after coming out of jail, he knew that there is affairs of his wife with Mohammed Shafiq. This Mohammed Shafiq was in same prison with Pawan a few months ago. Therefore, Pawan decided to take revenge of Shafiq.

On November 4, Pawan caught the Shafiq and his cousin Mohammad Gadi at strange place. Shafiq was shot dead on the spot and injured to Mohammed Gadi. Then he took Mohammed the nearby lake. After that, he killed Mohammed too by submerging him into the lake.

Initially, Police did not have any proof of this double murder. But after getting the Shafiq’s mobile number from the Pawan’s wife mobile phone, police started investigating in that direction. After that, investigation revealed that Pawan was behind this two murders. Then police arrested him again on November 18 and send him in the same jail, from where he was released for his good behaviour before one and half month ago.

After the preliminary inquiry, information come forward that local police officers violated the rules regarding the release of Pawan in this case.  All the factors of the prisoner like  his age, his behaviour the prison, crimes committed by the prisoner, how long he is in jai should be take into consideration, when any prisoner have to released from jail for good behaviour.

Also, the accused who’s hearing is going on in the court can not be rescued under these rules. Then how local police realised Pawan…So, there is possibility of action against the police officers.
