After Priyanka-Nick wedding, Rajasthan observes growth in tourism?

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE: Priyanka and Nick choose the magnificent piece of Rajasthan’s heritage, Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace for their wedding. The palace is the home of the former royal family of Jodhpur and is the sixth largest private residence in the world. Stretching across 26 acres of land (including 15 acres of lush gardens), the luxury five-star heritage hotel sits on the highest point of the city, Chittar Hill.

The ancient forts of Rajasthan’s have always been centre of attraction but since last few years was losing grip. But, after Priyanka-Nick wedding, Rajasthan is again under the spotlight.

After Umaid Bhawan Palace, these are the palaces most eyed on

Neemrana Fort, a majestic structure which was built in 1464, is considered to be one of the exotic wedding destinations in India. The palace has seven wings built across 6 acres of garden palace.

Chittor Fort in Chittorgarh, which was Mewar’s capital in past. This place attacks tourist for Padmini Palace and the Meera Temple which are situated within the fort.

Another Fort, Fairmont Jaipur has paid a tribute to the Pink City, which one can easily see in the hotel’s décor and architecture. The palace setting is heavily inspired by the Mughal dynasty and Rajput dynasty.

Whereas, Amer Fort located in Jaipur is built on the hilltop is magnificent and humongous. The fort has gorgeous entrances and offers spectacular views of the city along with light and sound show worth watching.

On the other side, Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur is known for stunning rooms bedecked with mirrors and various hues. Chamunda Temple inside the fort, where you can get a magical view of all the blue buildings of Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City.

Interestingly, previously, celebrities like Raveen Tondon- Anil Thadani, Katy Perry-Russell Brand, Elizabeth Hurley-Arun Nayar, Vikram Chatwal-Priya Sachdev, Rajat Tokas -Srishti Nayyar, Shriya Saran- Andrei Koscheev and Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rukmini Sahay also got married in different forts in Rajasthan.
