Action taken against five members of Rajan Lavand gang under MCOCA; 22nd such action by Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr

PUNE : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr has taken action against five members of Rajan Lavand gang which has committed crimes in limits of Hadapsar police station under MCOCA. This is Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr’s 22nd action under MCOCA. Serious crimes like kidnapping, causing injury, attempt to murder, dacoity, causing serious injury and molestation are registered against Rajan Lavand and his gang members. (Pune Crime News)

 

The MCOCA action has been taken against Rajan Raghunath Lavand (21), Om alias Pintu Vindo Bhandari, Hrishikesh alias Meghraj Pravin Shitole (19), Roshan Hanumant Sonkamble (21) and Sagar Shivaji Ghaytadak (19), a ll residents of Malwadi, Hadapsar. On March 29, Rajan Lavand and his aides had brutally assaulted and tried to kill a youth. The youth had died during medical treatment. An FIR had been registered at the Hadapsar police station. The police had arrested five people. Meanwhile, DCP Vikrant Deshmukh had externed gang leader Rajan Lavand for two years. Police investigation has proved Lavand had repeatedly committed crimes.

 

Sr PI Arvind Gokule had sent a proposal to Addl CP Ranjan Kumar Sharma through DCP suggesting that action should be taken against Lavand under MCOCA. Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr has taken action against the Rajan Lavand gang under MCOCA. Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr has taken strict action against criminal gangs and this is the 22nd action under MCOCA.

 

Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DCP Vikrant Deshmukh, ACP Bajrang Desai guided a team of officials including Sr PI Arvind Gokule, PI (crime) Digambar Shinde, PI (crime) Vishwas Dagale, API Vijaykumar Shinde, API Santosh Dange, policemen Pravin Shinde, Girish Ekorge, Mahesh Ubale, Rakesh Chavan, woman police naik Khaire, policemen Prashant Dudhal, Nikhil Pawar, Shahid Shaikh and Amol Danke in taking the action.
