90 Thousand Fake Condom Boxes Caught in Raid, Around 1 Lakh Fake Condoms Seized

New Delhi: Condoms are an excellent method of family planning, but sometimes the family grows up due to unsafe, outdated and bad condoms. Or people suffer from sexual diseases. In a raid, United Kingdom has caught thousands of fake, unsafe condoms in the last two years.

The UK’s The Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) seized around 1 lakh fake condoms across the country between 2018 and 2019. Of these, 87,500 condoms were found in the same raid. The officers were also surprised to see such a big stock.

There were fake condoms in the caught condom boxes, along with old and unsafe packaged condoms. Thousands of condoms were of expiry date. If it were sold in the market, many people could have had major problems.
