5 things pointed out from PM Modi’s speech

NPnews24 online-  At a public rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the four-laning of Solapur-Osmanabad section of NH-211, underground sewerage system and three sewage treatment plants. Modi also laid the foundation stone for a Rs 1811 crore housing project of 30,000 units under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The project will improve connectivity between Solapur and Marathwada region.

Nitin Gadkari (Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India speech), Devendra Fadnavis (Chief Minister of Maharashtra) along with their party workers were present in the event.

Fadnavis in his speech, spoke about various development activities conducted by BJP as well as he requested Modi for funds required for drought-hit regions.

On the other hand, Modi expressed his confidence in winning in the Lok Sabha in 2019 and claimed to be in the house for the next five years.

Things to be noted from the speech

1) 10% reservation in education and government jobs for economically weak sectors across caste and religion was passed by Lok Sabha yesterday, which would be forwarded to Rajya Sabha. Modi hopes, RS will also approve the demand. He further added, “Some people do politics under the name of poor people, Dalits, OBCs and minorities in the name of reservation, which will no longer be. Now the government has shown how everyone will get all rights.”

2) Modi also pointed out under the Citizenship Amendment Bill, citizens migrating from Bangladesh, Afghanistan and various other places, will also be provided with citizenship with terms and conditions.

3) Modi also mentioned, that Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is working successfully. The scheme profited every individual from 1 thousand and 5 thousand. Additional to that, Modi also spoke about a scheme of 2lakh.

4) “As per media, the middleman of helicopter deal who has been brought to India from a foreign country was not only involved in the helicopter deal but also in France fighter jet deal of previous government,” Modi taunted the Congress.

5) Commenting on Congress, Modi said, “We have recently send notice to the Congress party for 100crore tax scam.”
