MUMBAI: NPNEWS24 ONLINE– There are more than 4 lakhs 36 thousand cyber-attacks in India within the just six-month period of January-June. F-Secure which is a research organization and work for the cybersecurity conducted the survey of cyber-crimes and cyber-attacks worldwide.

Information about the cyber-attacks in India has been reported in the organization’s report. And according to its report, the number of cases of cyber-crimes is increasing very high in the country.

The highest number of cyber-attacks happened in India than the United States of America (US), Russia, China, and the Netherlands. F-Secure has created 41 Honeypots (Centers designed to monitor cyber-crime) in the world to collect information about cyber-attacks worldwide and to keep watch on the cybercriminals.

According to the report of F-Secure, India becomes the victim of the highest number of 2,55,589 cyber-attacks from Russia. Then, there were 1,03,458 cyber-attacks from the US, 42,544 from China, and 19,169 from the Netherlands, and 15,330 cyber-attacks from Germany.

As like of other countries, In the same way, India has also made cyber-attacks on foreign countries. It includes 35,563 cyber-attacks on other countries from India. These cyber-attacks are as follows-  12,540 attacks on Austria, 9,267 on the Netherlands, 6347 on Britain, 4,701 on Japan and 3,708 on Ukraine.

According to the report, India holds 21^st rank on a global tally of hackers across various countries and India ranks 13^th in terms of hackers initiating attacks.
