Women beware, If you are hiring a Maid think twice!

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Now, beware of who you are appointing as your maid-servant or you might have to pay, as this incident will blow up your boxes.

A woman residing in the camp area had to lose lakhs of rupees due to her carelessness. The maid servant after making an old lady, mother of 35-year-old house owner, unconscious looted 9 lakh 50 thousand of cash and fled away.

In this case, Abhan Bhada (35, Sinegang Street Camp) has filed a complaint against the maid-servant in Bund Garden police station.

Abhan Bhada works as an operation analyst in a software company situated at Yerwada. She stays with her mother in the camp area and few days ago, a maid-servant was hired by her for the household work at home and the same maid had worked in Abhan’s house four years ago. That is the reason why she hired her as a servant without any research or enquiry about her as Abhan trusted her.

On December 3, after the accused servant came for work at Abhan’s house. She, trusting the maid left from her house for work, taking advantage of which the maid looted the house after making Abhan’s mother unconscious.

Abhan had a conversation with her mother in afternoon but later when she called her mother, she did not receive the call.

When Abhan reached house, she found her mother lying unconscious on the ground and the cupboard’s door was wide open, to her utter surprise, all the cash and other valuables were missing.

After which, she filed a complaint against her maid in Bund Garden police station. According to police, the accused maid gave a sleeping pill to make Abhan’s mother unconscious and later executed her mastermind plan.

Bund Garden police is still probing further into the case and is in search of the accused who is absconding.
