Wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sent Him Legal Notice for Divorce, ‘Sensitive Allegations’ on the Actor
Aaliya Siddiqui, wife of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has sent a legal notice demanding divorce and maintenance. Their lawyers have confirmed that the notice has actually been sent because they have serious problems in their relationship. According to the law firm, “the allegations against Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family members are sensitive.”
Nawazuddin and Aaliya have been married for 11 years. Aaliya has alleged that there have been problems in her marriage for the past several years.
Aaliya Siddiqui’s lawyers Abhay Sahai and Mohit Mudgal (law firm BC Dasgupta & Co) said Nawazuddin had been served a legal notice on Aaliya’s direction. This legal notice is of 22 pages, which sets forth several allegations against Nawaz and his family. Aaliya and her lawyer refused to share a copy of the legal notice. It has been said that the issues between them are personal, but suffice to say that the allegations against Nawazuddin and his family are serious.
Aaliya, through notice, has demanded divorce from Nawazuddin and adequate maintenance. Nawazuddin was sent a notice on 07.05.2020 by advocates via email and WhatsApp, but no response has been received from his side yet. Aaliya herself also sent notice to Nawazuddin, but there was no response to that either.
According to media reports, there was no single reason behind the decision to divorce, but Aaliya had many problems with Nawaz. All the reasons were very serious.
Nawazuddin and Alia held each other’s hand in 2009. After this, she changed his name from Anjali to Aaliya. They had been married for 11 years. Both have a son and a daughter.
Actor is in quarantine for 14 days
Significantly, after the permission of the Maharashtra government, Nawazuddin along with his family has moved from Mumbai to his house in Budhana in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district. He has been asked to remain in Quarantine until 25 May. He has reached home in his own car with his mother, sister-in-law and brother. The actor has also given information about this on Twitter.
