Wife blames husband killing two children by use of Pesticides  

Pune: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – In a shocking incident two children died due to pest control took place at home, mother of two children blamed father and her in-laws for such incident.

The father knew about the pest control yet he forced both of the boys and mother to sleep in the same room. A case has been registered in Sinhagad Road Police Station which falls under the jurisdiction of Pune city Commissionerate against the father of the boys Sandip Dongare, Boy’s Grand Father, Grand Mother, Cousin grandmother, uncle, and aunty. The complaint was filed by the mother of the boys Janavi.

The incident had taken place on September 23 night on the Ganesh Immersion procession day. The deceased boys were Sarthak Dongare (9) and Sahil Donagre (11).    

According to police, “Sandip and Janhvi with their two children were living in Aanandnagar’s Siddharth Apartment in Sinhagad road in a three-room flat. Sandip works in Tulja Bhavani Enterprise was he himself works in Pest Control Department.”

“The pesticide was at Sandip’s house only. Sandip used the pesticides in the house as there were lots of bedbugs in the house. Leaving both the boys in the house to be part of Immersion Procession of Ganpati in Pune, thus he went out to watch it. He returned home around 2.30 in am.

The next morning all the family members fell ill due to the pesticides. Sandip preferred going to the medical and took pills rather than going to the hospital. On the next day, Sarthak started vomiting. Janhvi was also not feeling well. Thus Janahvi went to the nearby private hospital. Who later post-treatment was asked to rushed Sassoon General Hospital. Janahvi was also admitted in the hospital. Sarthak was shifted to Sassoon hospital by his uncle.

In Sassoon hospital, Doctors declared Sarthak dead around 9.30 and the doctor on the same day alerted the police. Meanwhile, Janahvi was given discharged by the hospital.  

On the other hand, Sarthak’s brother Sahil and Father Sandip were also admitted in a hospital as their health also got derogates. The condition of both was critical. Sandip was questioned by the police on Tuesday about the whole incident.

Sandip told police that After watching immersion procession he came home with Bhel for the family they all ate it. But could not finish all and they went to sleep. Police have sent the remaining Bhel to the forensic lab for checking. As soon as the reports of the lab come all the incident will get exposed.

Deceased children mother Janahvi claimed that post-death of children she was tortured and harassed by her husband and in-laws. They demanded Rs 10 lakh from her and fed up with their tortured she approached police and registered the case.  Police have registered the case against husband and in-laws under Indian Penal Code, 1860 comprises of 304 and 498A.

Inspector-in-charge Sardar Patil of Sinhagad police station is investigating the case.
