Irfan Pathan said that in 2004 he went to Pakistan for a series. On this occasion, he along with Rahul Dravid, Parthiv Patel and Laxmipathy Balaji went to a college in Lahore. Around 1500 children were present there and asking various questions. Meanwhile, a girl stood up in anger asked me a question, if you are Muslim then why play for India? Irfan said, “I stood up and said that I do not favor India by playing with India. India is my country. My ancestors are from India. I represent India so I consider myself lucky.
