Why did Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgan break their friendship? Why they did not work together in any film?
Mumbai: npnews24 Online – In real life Kajol and Shahrukh Khan are very good friends. They have also worked together in many movies like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Dilwale (2015).
But Ajay Devgan and SRK are just having a formal friendship. They both just have Hii – Hello’s whenever they face each other. In 31 years of their Bollywood career, the both have never seen on screen together.
Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgan were very good friends a decades before. But when Ajay Devgan and Sunny Deol were fixed for the movie Karan – Arjun, but at the 11th hour Sunny stepped behind from doing the movie. So for the movie at the 11th hour Rakseh Roshan asked Shahrukh Khan and signed him for the movie. Both Ajay Devgan and Shahrukh Khan were given their respective characters for the movie. After listening to the story Ajay changed his mind and asked to exchange their roles. Ajay Devgan felt like Shahrukh’s role is most impressive and rousing, so he wanted to play this character.
The decision of taking each other’s character in the film was left between Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgan but the both could not make a decision so they concluded leaving the film. The both kept the disputes with themselves but in 2012 when ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and ‘Son Of Sardar’ were released on same days. Both movies clashed on the box office. Ajay Devgan also claimed that,Yashraj purchased more screens in the theaters using his fame and power so Son of Sardar did not get much screens. So this claim brought out the disputed between SRK and Ajay Devgan.
