Who Got What in the Second Installment of the Relief Package, Know – Finance Minister’s Big Announcement

New Delhi : PM Narendra Modi, while addressing the country, announced a relief package of Rs 20 lakh crore. In its first phase, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made several big announcements on Wednesday. During this time, she gave relief from MSME to real estate companies and general taxpayers. This process of relief continues on Thursday and Nirmala Sitharaman once again talked to media.

– The benefit of Kisan Credit Card is being given to 2.5 crore new farmers. Fishermen and livestock farmers will also get the benefit.

30,000 crore additional emergency working capital funds will be given to NABARD for farmers. This will be in addition to the first fund of 90 thousand crores received by NABARD and will be released immediately.

– The deadline of the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme on Housing Loans extended to middle income groups with annual income of 6 to 18 lakhs increased till March 2021. It started in May 2017. 2.5 lakh families will get relief from this decision of the government.

– A special loan of 10 thousand rupees will be given for 50 lakh street vendors, for which the government will spend 5 thousand crores.

Under the Mudra Scheme, the government has got a rebate of three months on repayment of Mudra (Shishu) loan of 50000 rupees or less. After this, the benefit of 2 percent subvention scheme i.e. interest rebate will be given for the next 12 months. About 3 crore people will  have a total profit of 1500 crores.

Three types of loans in currency scheme –

– Shishu Loans: Loans up to Rs 50,000 are given.

 – Kishor Loans: Loans ranging from 50,000 to 5 lakh rupees are given.

– Tarun Loans: Loans ranging from 5 lakh to 10 lakh rupees are given.

 

 

 

– The Finance Minister said that the scheme of cheap rental house for migrant laborers, because of this, where the migrant laborers are working, they will get cheap house.

– National Portability of One Ration Card i.e. One Nation – One Ration Card will be implemented from June 1. By August 2020, 67 crore beneficiaries from 23 states will be covered. All ration cards will be covered by March 2021. In this scheme, ration card holders on a ration card can take their share of ration in any corner of the country. There are more than 80 crore ration card holders in the country.

For 2 months, migrant laborers will get free supply of food grains. Those who do not have ration card will also be given 5 kg of wheat-rice and one kg of gram. A provision of Rs 3500 crore for this. About 8 crore laborers will get benefit. It will be the responsibility of the state governments to implement it.

 

 

 

– Preparation to give the right of minimum wage to all workers. Similarly, a plan to eliminate regional disparity in minimum wage. Appointment letter will also be given.

– A plan to make annual health checkups also compulsory for all employees. These are being considered in the Parliament. Guidelines will be brought for safety for women working in night shifts.

– Assistance is being provided for migrant laborers returning home. They will be given employment under MNREGA. 2.33 crore people benefit. The minimum wage has already been increased from 182 to 202 rupees.

 

 

11,000 crore rupees have been provided to the urban poor. State governments are allowed to use the APADA fund for the urban poor so that they can be provided food and housing. For this, money is sent from the center. Homeless people living in urban areas are getting three time meals in the shelter home completely free with the money of the central government.

-The farmers took a loan of 4.22 lakh crore, farmers have been given a 3-month exemption on the loan. Interest subvention scheme was extended till 31 May. 25 lakh new Kisan Credit Cards issued. NABARD has given assistance of 29,500 crores to rural banks.
