Irrfan was undergoing treatment for the disease abroad and has recently returned to Mumbai. Irrfan Khan has been under the supervision of doctors at Kokilaben Hospital after returning from London for treatment. For the past several months, he has been providing routine checkups and treatments related to his illness at Kokilaben Hospital. But on Tuesday, Irrfan was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai due to sudden illness. Irrfan was in critical condition and was in ICU. He was admitted to the hospital because of a colon infection. Where he breathed his last.

What is Neuro Endocrine Tumor?
In this disease, the endocrine glands are affected. The endocrine glands secrete hormones and are controlled by the nervous system. Cancer occurs due to uncontrolled growth of special types of endocrine cells found in these glands.
