Weather forecast: mercury level likely to cross 40 degrees in Maharashtra

 As soon as the second week of March starts, the mood of the weather in the whole country is changing rapidly.

After snowfall in the mountain region of Northern India, there are chances of rain in many places in the plains. Apart from this, many places in the western part of the country may receive rain.

On the other hand, the heat is increasing continuously in central India, especially in Maharashtra and Vidarbha. In many areas of Maharashtra, the temperature has reached beyond 40 degrees.

Several parts of the Kashmir Valley received rains on Monday. Whereas Gulmarg received snowfall on Sunday, The Meteorological Department said that Gulmarg received 22 inches of snowfall.

 Some parts of western Rajasthan also received rainfall on Monday, after scorching heat for the past several days. The rain in the region occurred due to western disturbances.

According to Skymet Weather, the Western Disturbance is currently over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining Himachal Pradesh. Due to which the cyclonic circulation is present over northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas.

Light to moderate rain and snowfall may occur over the next 24 hours in the western Himalayan states, with moderate to light rain at one or two places in the northeastern areas of the country. On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain in some places in southern parts of the country.
