VIDEO : Ranbir Kapoor Immersed the Ashes of Father Rishi in Banganga, Kapoor Family Didn’t Get Permission to Go to Haridwar
Mumbai : The ashes of the late actor Rishi Kapoor were immersed in Banganga Pond in Mumbai on Sunday. His brother Randhir Kapoor told PTI that a prayer meeting was held at home on Saturday. After this, the ashes were immersed in Banganga on Sunday. The family did not get permission from the authorities to go to Haridwar.
Many photos and videos are going viral on social media, in which Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor, the late actor’s wife Neetu Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni are seen performing the last rites at Banganga Pond here.
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30. 67-year-old Rishi Kapoor was admitted to the hospital late on Wednesday. He was admitted to HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. In 2018, Rishi Kapoor was taken to New York for cancer treatment, where he lived for about a year. Rishi Kapoor returned to Mumbai in September last year.
According to reports, Rishi Kapoor was in the hospital for the last 6 days, his condition deteriorated on the evening of April 30 and he was kept in ICU
