Vedant Buildcon partners Akash, Rahul Goyal booked for cheating

Pune : NP NEWS24 NETWORK – Two partners of the M/s Vedant Buildcon company have been booked for cheating their another partner by not handing over flats to him at their upcoming residential project in Pisoli.

Based on complaint from Rajiv Shivnath Sonkar (53) of M/s Dynamic Reality Ventures, Kondhwa police station under Pune city police has registered an FIR against builders Akash Goyal and Rahul Goyal. They have been booked for offences under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to police, the incident took place between 2015 and this year at Pisoli. Sonkar’s firm had entered into joint venture with Vedant Buildcon for developing 1 hectare 37R in Pisoli. “Vedant Buildcon did not complete the project within time. Also out of 123 flats they handed over 75 flats only to us, and did not give 48 flats. This amounts to breach of contract as well as cheating”, Sonkar stated in his complaint.

Police sub inspector Padvi is further investigating the case.
