Unlock 5.0 New Guidelines : Cinema Hall & Swimming Pool To Re-open From October 15

New Delhi : The Union Home Ministry has issued new guidelines for Unlock 5.  From October 15, theaters, multiplexes will open in the country with 50% capacity.

Also, as per the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, apart from cinema halls, multiplexes, amusement parks will be opened from October 15.

Reopening of swimming pools and amusement parks have also been approved with new guidelines. However, the lockdown will continue strictly at containment zones until 31 October.

Central government has asked states and Union Territories to take a careful decision after October 15 to open schools, colleges and coaching classes. The Center said that permission to open educational institutions should be sought after looking into the situation in that area and after consulting the management of the school.

Keep in mind that all these activities have been restored in areas outside the Containment Zones.

Lockdown extended till 31 October in Maharashtra
In view of the coronavirus pandemic, the Maharashtra government has announced to extend the lockdown in the state till 31 October.

However, hotels and cafes have been allowed to open outside the content zones. Maharashtra government has approved opening of hotels and food courts with a 50 per cent capacity from October 5.
