Uddhav Thackeray on Kangana controversy : Do not consider silence as my weakness

Mumbai: ‘Do not assume my silence as a weakness’, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray while addressing people of Maharashtra through a press conference today.

During the conference , he said, ‘for now my focus is to manage and curb Coronavirus. Our effort is to bring life back on track’

Uddhav Thackeray, referring to the critical condition of Coronavirus, he said that from September 15, we are going to launch a health checkup mission. Medical teams will be send to every home and the health related information will be taken.

Uddhav Thackeray said that some people may think that the corona is over and they have started doing politics. Whereas I do not want to say anything about the politics involving slander of Maharahstra but soon at the right time, I will speak about it.

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said that we are hoping and praying that the vaccine be available by December or January.

We will start health checkup in every house in the state from September 15. Teams will visit every house to inquire about health history of family. We are also working to provide sufficient oxygen and end its shortages. The CM said that we are starting a campaign called ‘My family, my responsibility’ to fight Corona.

Uddhav Thackeray said that there have been many storms in the past including political violence. Nonetheless I am able to handle all the political storms.

Talking about farmers he said that we have waived the debts of 29.5 lakh farmers. We have procured record breaking cotton this year. The 3.60 lakh beds are increased across the state.

Uddhav Thackeray also said that it is my best effort to get Maratha reservation. We have also talked to the opposition about this. However, the Supreme Court has stayed it. We will try our best to give you full justice. Do not agitate. Do not spread misunderstanding. Justice should be given in Maratha reservation case, government is doing its best.
