Udayanraje Bhosale likely to resign today

Np News 24 Pune: In another blow to the NCP, its MP Udayanraje Bhosale is going to resign on Friday, according to media reports. He is going to submit his resignation to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at 8 pm on Friday. He is going to leave for New Delhi with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
According to reports, Bhosale will join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister and BJP President Amit Shah. The joining ceremony will be held on Saturday (September 14).
Bhosale had met his supporters and workers on Thursday and informed them about his decision.
He has not come out and announced it to the media yet. This is the biggest blow to the NCP. Many of its leaders have bee  joining the BJP or the Shiv Sena recently.
Earlier, Leader of Opposition Dhananjay Munde had told the media that Bhosale is not angry with the NCP and will not be joining the BJP.  However, now media reports are suggesting something else.
Udyanraje Bhosale is a NCP MP from Satara Constituency in Maharashtra. Before that, he was a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and the Minister for Revenue of Maharashtra in the BJP government.  He is also the descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
