Two arrested for threatening and robbing man

A 26-year-old man from Wagholi lodged a complaint at the airport police station. Accordingly, the police arrested Sagar Sunil Sangde (23) and Amit Prakash Ingole (19) from Kharadi. The incident took place in front of Hotel Maratha Darbar on Ahmednagar Road at 11:45 pm on January 28.

According to the police, the complainant and his friend were chatting at night in front of Hotel Maratha Darbar. The two accused came there and threatened the complainant and his friend. A mobile phone worth Rs 30,000 and a wrist watch worth Rs 2000 were forcefully taken from the complainant. When he sought his valuables back, the accused told him to forget the mobile phone and watch and threatened them. If you report this to the police, we will not spare you. So he did not lodge a complaint with the police.

When the police were patrolling, they came to know about the incident. The police caught both the culprits. The complainant was traced from his mobile phone.

He lodged a complaint and PSI Dhavare is investigating.
