Tripura : 5 BJP leaders killed in road accident while returning from election meeting
Agartala : A major accident occurred in South Tripura on Friday evening when a mini truck overturned. Five BJP workers sitting in a mini truck overturned in South Tripura’s Nutan Bazar area were killed and six people were injured. In a hurry, injured were admitted to the nearest hospital.
According to the news agency ANI, the BJP workers were returning to their home from an election rally, when the incident happened.

Chief Minister Viplab Kumar Deb and BJP state president Manik Saha expressed their condolences over the incident.
However, the exact reason for how the mini truck overturned is not known at the moment. It is estimated that the speed of the mini truck must have been fast and due to the deterioration of the balance, he may have been the victim of the accident.
