Three-Storey Building Collapsed in Bhiwandi, Thane; 9 People Dead, Many Feared Trapped

Mumbai : The accident of building collapses has again come to light in Maharashtra. A three-storied building in Bhiwandi, Thane, adjoining Mumbai, suddenly collapsed. 20 to 25 people are feared trapped in the building debris, while 20 people have been evacuated so far with the help of local people. All the injured are being admitted to a nearby hospital. At the same time, the team of NDRF reached the spot and started relief work. The work of evacuating people from under the debris is being done.

The accident occurred early in the morning on Monday. Everyone was fast asleep that the three-story building suddenly collapsed. Till now, 8 people have died in this accident. At the same time these numbers are likely to increase further.

The work of evacuating people trapped under the debris is going on. The NDRF as well as the local people are involved in relief work. The rescue team has rescued a child from under the debris. The child is admitted to the hospital immediately.
