Mumbai : Which actor wouldn’t want to work in a historical film like ‘Padmavat’? The film is so big, the use of strong dialogues and special effects, amazing scenes and hit songs is tremendous. But when the legendary Bollywood actor was offered the role of Alauddin Khilji, he immediately refused!

Although this artist does not need any recognition, he is a big figure in himself, but the reason behind rejecting the film is very big. He is none other than King Khan of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan, who is considered as the king of acting.

In ‘Padmavat’, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh is played by Shahid Kapoor who was earlier offered to Shahrukh Khan but he refused to do it because Shahrukh believed that the film’s story was only revolving around “Padmavati” and “Alauddin Khilji”.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali later offered the role of Alauddin Khilji to Shahrukh Khan but then Shahrukh Khan refused to it saying that there was going to be a lot of ruckus about this role. Shahrukh has been the target of many organizations earlier due to his acting, even there was a lot of controversy about his role in Raees.
