Special trains will be run between several cities including New Delhi, Patna, Gaya, Varanasi, Ambala, Saharanpur, Barauni, Lucknow and Katra during Holi to avoid overcrowding at railway stations in view of the festival. These Special Trains for Holi will Run

04022/04021 Anand Vihar (Term.) – Patna AC Express Train- Holi special train will open from Anand Vihar on March 9 at 00.10 hrs and reach Patna Junction at 17.45 hrs on the same day. In return, Patna to Anand Vihar AC Express will open from Patna Junction on March 8 at 19.35 hrs and reach Anand Vihar terminal at 13.20 pm the next day. This train will stop at Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Allahabad, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Buxar and Ara stations.

04074/04073 Delhi to Varanasi Special Train – A special train from New Delhi to Varanasi will also run three days a week. Train 04074 will run from Delhi on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday three days a week from March 3 to 11. Apart from this, trains will run from Kashi from 4 March to 11 March on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It will have 3 tier air, chair and general coach. This train will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations.

04401/04402 Anand Vihar (Terminal) to Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra – Train number 04401 will run from Anand Vihar to Vaishno Devi on Monday and Thursday from March 2 to March 13. On the other hand, train 04402 from Vaishno Devi to Anand Vihar will run from March 3 to March 13. This train will halt at Ghaziabad, Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Yamunanagar, Jagadhri, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur stations.

404044 / 04043 Anand Vihar Terminus to Gaya Special Express – 04044 from Anand Vihar (Term.) To Gaya on 9 March and from 04043 Gaya will open for Anand Vihar (Term) on 9 March. The train has a 2-tier air condition. There will be 3 tier air condition, sleeper and general coaches. This train will stop at Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Allahabad, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Bhabua Road, Sasaram Jn. and Dehri and Son Nagar stations.
