These 7 celebrities chose saree over bridal lehenga for their wedding
Mumbai : Brides choose lehengas for their main wedding ceremony. From Bollywood celebs to you and I follow this trend. But it is not absolutely necessary that everyone opts for a heavy lehenga! Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is also one of them. Recently, Yami Gautam shared some pictures of her wedding on social sites, in which she is wearing a saree in the main ceremony of the wedding. Her fans liked her look very much. However, since then the bridal look of those Bollywood celebs came into the limelight, who chose saree instead of lehenga. This includes the saree look of five-time Filmfare Award winning actress Kajol to Miss World Aishwarya Rai.
Yami Gautam chose a zari work red shade silk saree for the main function of her wedding, designed by famous fashion designer Anita Dongre. People are very fond of Yami’s simple look. Yami married Aditya Dhar, director of the film ‘Uri The Surgical Strike’ on 4 June.

Dia Mirza chose a traditional red brocade sari for the wedding, in which she looked elegant as ever. Dia Mirza’s saree was designed by Indian sustainable traditional handloom fashion house Raw Mango.
