There is no freedom of speech and expression in UP: ex IG Abdur Rahman
Npnews24 online – By (Basit shaikh ) Former Special IG Abdur Rahman, who quit the IPS service over CAB-NRC Act was stopped by Agra Police from reaching Aligarh Muslim University where he was scheduled to address the students on Sunday evening. He was taken to Lodha police station and detained for over two hours. He was later allowed to leave for Delhi.

IG Rahman reacting to the development posted a live video of his detention on his twitter account. He said he was detained some 15 kms ahead of Aligarh. There is no freedom of speech and expression in UP, “.
