Mushtaq, a former bodyguard of Sushant, told Undercover Reporters that he saw the Bollywood star carrying expensive and imported Charas during private parties and while traveling in his car. Undercover Reporters spoke to Mushtaq by introducing themselves as filmmakers.

Mushtaq worked in the actor’s private security escort for about nine months before quitting his job in February last year.

In his statement to the police, Neeraj claimed that he had rolled cigarettes of marijuana a few days before the actor’s death.

In the alleged WhatsApp chat between Rhea Chakraborty and the manager, there was a point towards Rajput’s possible addiction to drugs. Mushtaq’s talk to Undercover Reporters also indicates that Rajput was charas and ganja addicted.

Mushtaq- “Yes, he took it … During parties at home, there used to be five to six people. At that time he used to have charas or ganja. Everyone in the room used to do it. I heard that it was an expensive kind.”

Mushtaq claimed that he had also warned Rajput’s manager about the ill effects of Charas.

Mushtaq- “I told him that this addiction would lead to mental disturbances (to Rajput) but his manager told me that it (Charas) was not of any common Indian variety. It was expensive.”

According to Mushtaq, three to four people of Rajput’s personal staff used to roll charas for him.

Mushtaq said, “We had instructions not to leave traces of it (charas) in the car as doing so could be a risk of getting caught during checking.”

Mushtaq stressed that Rajput was of uncertain nature.

Mushtaq- “No one could guess his (Rajput’s) mood during the shoots. During the shoot, he could ask for anything and if not met he could lose his temper. He could suddenly cancel the shoot because of his mood. This happened many times. The shoots were canceled despite the sets being ready.”

According to Mushtaq, during his nine months stay with the actor, he saw the dismissal of four-five personal staff members.

Rajput’s former bodyguard claimed that he suddenly used to sack people without any fault.

Mushtaq confessed that he praised Rajput over other TV networks. Mushtaq said, “I cannot say everything in interviews.” I will only give a false compliment. Otherwise, people will start burning my effigies. Now I am apologizing to God.”
