Sushant Singh Rajput To Be Honoured At Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021

Mumbai : More than two months have passed since the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant’s family, friends and fans all want Sushant to get justice. Meanwhile, the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the International Film Festival to be held in 2021. Dada Saheb Phalke Awards has revealed on its official Instagram page that Sushant will be awarded posthumously at the DadaSaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021. However, the dates for the awards have not been announced yet.

Sushant Singh Rajput got the honor in California State Assembly about a week ago. Sushant was given the honor in California in view of his good contribution to the world and cinema. The honor given by the California State Assembly to Sushant was received by his sister Shweta Singh Kirti. Whose photo he also shared on her Instagram account.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting may honor the actor in a special way at this year’s National Awards. However, it has not yet been decided by the ministry what kind of honor it will be. In the report, quoting sources in the ministry, it has been written that soon the posthumous award will be prepared.

“The death of Sushant has shaken the entire film industry. The honor he is receiving after his death was not given when he was alive. It is an imbalance and it has to be corrected. A separate festival is being planned by the government for Sushant’s films. At the same time, he will be given a special award for his significant contribution to cinema during the National Awards.”
