Supriya Sule Takes Aim at Opponents in Indapur Rally, Asserts Confidence Ahead of Baramati Election Campaign

Baramati: As the electoral fervour intensifies in Baramati, Supriya Sule, the nominee from Mahavikas Aghadi, has launched an assertive campaign across the constituency. In today’s meeting held in Indapur, Baramati, Sule aimed sharp criticisms at her opponents while rallying support for her candidacy. Sule affirmed that Indapurkar will give the befitting reply to the opponents in this election.

Addressing the gathering, Sule emphasised the deep-rooted support for Sharad Pawar within the Indapur taluka, highlighting the longstanding allegiance of local activists to the veteran leader. “Sharad Pawar has many activists in Indapur. This taluka stood behind Sharad Pawar every time,” said Sule.

However, amidst the ongoing electoral dynamics, Sule expressed bewilderment at recent political shifts within the constituency, lamenting the apparent deterioration in the electoral discourse. “What has happened in this election has become incomprehensible for me. I contested three elections. Rahul Kul’s entire family was against me in the last election. I admire Rahul Kul and his wife for never levelling personal criticism against me. All three elections were civilized. But we don’t know what went wrong in this election,” remarked Sule.

Drawing attention to instances of intimidation and hostility faced by her supporters, particularly her family members, Sule underscored the need for a peaceful and democratic campaign environment. “Rohit Pawar and Yugendra Pawar are campaigning for me. They have stood with their grandfather, Sharad Pawar. Yugendra Pawar’s vehicle was blocked twice. They are campaigning peacefully in a democratic manner. I demanded security for Yugendra Pawar. After that, I was also criticized. After any child is attacked, will anyone think of their mother or not? Levels are being dropped while critiquing. What is going on here?” asked Supriya Sule during her speech.

Asserting the resilience of the Indapur electorate, Sule exuded confidence in their unwavering support for Sharad Pawar and the Mahavikas Aghadi. She rallied the crowd, urging them to resist intimidation and exercise their democratic right to participate in the electoral process without fear or coercion. Sule added, “People are being threatened here. They are being told not to go to Pawar Saheb’s meeting. But I want to say that this is Indapur taluka. There are many people who love Sharad Pawar here. People here will not be afraid of phone calls and threats.”

Supriya Sule expressed the belief that people will do a correct programme of them (opponents) in the Legislative Assembly.” Dattatray Bharne is the MLA of Indapur Assembly Constituency. Currently, he is in Ajit Pawar’s NCP group. Supriya Sule has made the above statement, addressing Bharne.

Amidst fervent applause and chants of support from the audience, Sule received resounding endorsements. Meanwhile, one of the listeners in the meeting said that we would give a margin of 3 lakh votes to Supriya Sule in this election. After that, there was loud applause in the meeting. On this occasion, Sule appealed to the workers to campaign vigorously.
