Spike of 1812 New Corona Cases in 24 Hours

Pune : Spread of deadly coronavirus is increasing day by day. Strict lockdown has been declared in Pune city, Pimpri-Chinchwad and some other villages of the district including Haveli and Mulshi talukas to reduce the spread. Today was the third day of the lockdown. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, 1812 new positive patients of Corona have been found in Pune city alone. While 17 people have died due to corona in a day and with this, a total of 906 people have died due to corona in Pune city so far. Meanwhile, tests are being conducted with antigen kits and the number of tests to be taken has been increased.

At present, the total number of corona patients in Pune city has reached 31884. The most satisfying thing is that so far 20334 patients have recovered after treatment and have been discharged from the hospital. 764 patients have been discharged today.

The 1812 new positive patients found today include patients from Sasoon, Naidu and other private hospitals. At present a total of 10644 patients are active in Pune city.  Of these, 536 patients are critical and 80 of them are being treated on ventilators. As many as 17 people have died in the last 24 hours and 1812 new positive corona have been found in a single day.  The local and police administration has time to time appealed to the citizens to not to leave their homes if there is not an urgency.
