Somy Ali recalls her harrowing experience, Says some directors tried to have sex with her

Mumbai : Somy Ali, former Bollywood actress who has featured in movies like ‘Aao Pyaar Karen’ and ‘Teesra Kaun’, to name a few entered Bollywood in the year 1992. Somy was all over the news due to her relationship with superstar Salman Khan more than her movies. Salman Khan and Somy dated each other for a period of 8 years. She recently claimed that the actor cheated on him and that’s the reason she broke up with him and left.

In her revelation, Somy Ali also opened up about a bad experience in Bollywood wherein she spoke about an instance which made her uncomfortable in the film industry. Somy said, ‘A couple of directors tried to have sex with me. I was in a horribly abusive relationship. So yes, it was pretty bad overall.’

Somy Ali further shared that she has no plans to make a comeback in Bollywood. Besides talking about her bad experience in Bollywood, Somy also shared that she did not learn a single thing from Salman. The actress said, ‘But I learned a lot of good things from his parents. The biggest thing I learned is that they never saw religion and treated every human being equally. Their home was open to everyone and love permeated throughout their house especially from Salma (Salman’s mother) aunty.’
